How was the Carnaby Dress Inspired
Released in the Summer Swim collection of 2020 by Zimmermann, this dress is a vision of Little House on the Prairie, yet the intention of the direction it was going to take was completely different. Fashionistas flocked to buy the look and it was not because they loved the Ingall family and wanted to emulate their look. The transition of the look literally boiled down to the shoes! Once paired with a pair of Dr Martens reminiscent of London’s famously grungy Carnaby street, the whole look changed. Contrasting vibes were what it all became about.

About the Postcard Mini Dress
Another such style evoking romantic vibes of eras past is their Postcard mini dress. Complete in yellow and white summery floral print, this dress also contains an old-fashioned damsel in distress aesthetic, but with a modern-day edge. This dress is complete with a belt crafted out of the same fabric, a high neck and puff sleeves with delicate crochet trims.
